Marie Saint Pierre creates an imaginative juxtaposition of textures and colors

Considered an avant-garde designer, Marie Saint Pierre is known for her layering techniques and fluid lines, creating an imaginative juxtaposition of textures and colors. Comfort and versatility are the two trademarks of every Marie Saint Pierre design. These qualities are greatly appreciated by the brand’s focus of today’s woman. The practical yet avant-garde outfits adapt perfectly to the wearer, enabling her to make a statement that is truly her own. Marie Saint Pierre creates collections for every season as well as bridal and evening gowns.

For Fall/Winter 2011, oranges, greens and metallic hues mixed with natural tones prevail. Adorned in singular géométries, inspired by design and hilly textures, the collection is a breath of well-being and good-natured living. Classics and famous fashions of yesteryear merge with modernity. Composite and fused materials are juxtaposed, trimmed, zigzagged. Their collision reinvents them. An intimate bond brings together chic and relaxed, comfort and elegance.

The designer graduated from LaSalle College as one of the most promising fashion-design students in Montreal. She was the first Quebecer to be selected to show her work at New York’s Fashion Coterie. This was only the beginning of the accolades and opportunities granted to the designer for her collections, entrepreneurial ventures and her service to the community. Her efforts extend beyond fashion. She has created the SOUS ZERO fund (2004) in order to assist underprivileged women and children.
