Nicole Miller still rules the runway at Funkshion Fashion Week
Fashion icon Nicole Miller proved that she’s still at the top of the fashion game at her Spring 2010 runway show at The Bass Museum of Art in Miami Beach as part of Funkshion Fashion Week. Funkshion is an annual week of runway shows, events and parties showcasing both established fashion designers and emerging talents.
Ms. Miller’s much anticipated show featured wearable instant classics in rich jewel tones and neutrals. Ms. Miller’s cocktail dressed were impeccable and instant classics. Deep v-necks, ruching and spaghetti straps invoked an evening of smart cocktails and clever conversation. Separates and day wear had a hand painted watercolor feel to them, making them feminine and flirty.
Though she has become known for her classic women’s wear, Ms. Miller hasn’t forgotten what put her name on the fashion map and she closed the show with two male models wearing nothing but trunks and the ties she became famous for in the 80’s.
