Banana Republic Fashion Show At Dumond Conservancy

A night of monkeys, models, music, and quiche (really good quiche we might add). This was a fun-filled fashion show hosted by the Dumond Conservancy featuring Clothing from the Banana Republic holiday line. We’ve got plenty of photos of this fashion event featuring Banana Republic clothing after the break.

FASHIFY.com team members: Ania Noelle (photo of Ania here) and Aristotle Olay had recently covered a Dumond Conservancy Fashion Event at the Monkey Jungle in South Miami (near Homestead) on Saturday October 24, 2009. The fashion show was produced by Sian Evans who heads the Dumond Conservancy, with the help of Nigel Fields, and Joshua Fernandez. Joshua was the one who originally conceptualized the fashion show.

It was their idea to use fashion show to bring attention to their owl monkeys, and how the study of these primates have aided scientists in eye and malaria research that will benefit humans.
