Happy New Year Photographers!

Element Models is looking for at least ONE strong photographer in each of the below categories.
We are planning for 2010 and looking to fill some voids. There are quite a few development models that need just a head shot , a lifestyle shot and a body shot. Let us know if you feel you have what it takes or if you can recommend a local or out of town photographer.

We’re looking for photographers that can cover at least one or all of the following categories:

LIFESTYLE

• Is able to pick appropriate wardrobe. Wardrobe must be flattering in fit (does it make the model look as slim as possible) ,style (must not appear dated or themed) as well as colors (do the colors make the models eye, hair, and skin color pop)
• Is up-to-date studying current marketing campaigns for the following: Ralph Lauren, JCrew, Banana Rebublic, etc. As, images must be similar to this.
• The feel of the shots should be natural. The model is NOT to be overposed; but, rather act as her natural self in simple natural wardrobe, hair, and makeup.

BODY SHOTS

• Is able to pick appropriate wardrobe. Wardrobe must be flattering in fit (does it make the model look as slim as possible) ,style (must not appear dated or themed) as well as colors (do the colors make the models eye, hair, and skin color pop)
• Will NOT shoot trashy shots (greased up bodies, shots in bed, fetish)
• Will shoot shots that can portray tasteful sexiness.
• Is up-to-date studying current marketing campaigns for the following: Victoria’s Secret, Sunday AJC Circular Ads (lingerie, swim suit, & exercise sections of department stores).
• Has the option to shoot swim suit, lingerie, or work out clothes. Just because a model is flat chested, doesn’t mean you can’t make her look good in lingerie. These girls often book lingerie as well as the full-chested.
• Understands a woman’s body and knows what type of lingerie or swim suit is most flattering (bandeau, halter, string bikini, racer back).
• Makes the model appear as slim as possible

CHILDREN

• Can take image of children in their natural element, most importantly acting like a child. (if the child is given an icecream cone we’d expect to see pictures of the child with icecream all over their face and on their clothes. A normal kid wouldn’t just let the icecream cone drip down their hand and arm as they pose!)
• Can especially help put together outfits that aren’t too busy.
• Is up-to-date studying current marketing campaigns for the following: study the Vogue Bambino magazine (all childrens fashion), study in store posters at stores such as Target, Bloomingdales and other dpt. stores, Sunday AJC Circular Ads pajama, exercise, toy sections).

**MOST IMPORTANTLY the caliber of photography needs to be perceived well in other National and even International Markets. We need a photographer that has a keen eye for detail (hair , makeup, posing, and precise styling, and shoot location to match with the rest)

We need to get the ball rolling asap.
