Just last week, the chosen showcase consisted of a wacky sex ed demonstration given by the owner of Sobe Tan, South Beach’s premiere spray tan salon that boasts an A-list clientele including the entire Kardashian crew, as she recently opened her latest venture several months ago.  And just what exactly is said latest business endeavor you may be wondering? How about a sex shop designed specifically for women hoping to explore their sexuality apart from the overbearing presence of the male perspective? That’s right ladies: founder Fabiola has your back and is determined to prove that a healthy sexual appetite is acceptable for both genders! In fact, she held such a high-energy and informative presentation last week that it both shocked and wowed the crowd in attendance (no thanks to the wide spectrum of unique “toys” and free samples that she had to offer!).  Sound like your cup of tea? We walked 7 blocks north on Oceans Drive to catch a live performance by MASS ENSEMBLE taking place for SleeplessNight.org.

On Sunday, model Ania Noelle contacted us to shoot her for a new portfolio book. Ania’s sporting a shorter hairstyle now (which we love). We took this photo in South Beach, near Oceans Drive. Pictured here is Ania wearing jeans, shirt, scarf, and handbag all available at Forever XXI (Forever 21).

We love it when people keep their pets looking trendy. Here’s a dog Ania spotted on Washington Ave hanging out with his owner, who’s been styled and groomed to look like a lion. He’s so cute.

Nikki Beach Launches New Monthly Fashion Event Series “What Women Want”

Nikki Beach hosts “Look Better Naked” fashion shows featuring ANK by Mirla Sabino and Salinas Swimwear presented by David Barton Gym

MIAMI, FL (November 6, 2009) – Global luxury lifestyle entertainment group Nikki Beach announces the launch of its signature “What Women Want” fashion event series, bringing the runway to Miami Beach.

“What Women Want” is a unique concept spread out over a series of fashion events on the first Saturday of each month, kicking off November 7^th, 2009.

In what will be the most anticipated Saturday night out in Miami, every month Nikki Beach will pick and promote a favorite brand by creating a one-of-a-kind fashion event featuring the new collection along with a pop-up boutique on-site.

Targeting the ultimate fashionistas, trendsetters, and influential elite, all part of Nikki Beach’s existing clientele, this concept will draw the best crowd in town.  In true Nikki Beach style, the event will be centered around champagne, sweets, and shopping, indulging every woman’s guiltiest pleasures.

“What Women Want” will kick off at 6pm with a meet and greet hosted by ANK’s Mirla Sabino and a Lamborghini VIP lounge hosted by Prestige Imports with surprise celebrity guests.

From 7pm to 10pm guests can indulge in complimentary champagne, cupcakes, fruit sushi and chocolates while receiving mini manicures provided by O.P.I.  The event will also feature pop-up boutiques by Salinas Swimwear, ANK by Mirla Sabino, Godiva, and Melissa Plastic Dreams.

At 10pm David Barton Gym will present “Look Better Naked” runway shows featuring ANK by Mirla Sabino and Salinas Swimwear followed by a fashion show after party at Club Nikki at 11pm.

The nail polish line, entitled Runway, was previewed at the rooftop of the Townhouse Hotel in South Beach and is scheduled to launch early 2010.  “Nail polish is social for both boys and girls, plus it’s an excuse to have a cocktail party”, Rich said.  Runway polish will be available in a rainbow of hues ranging from neutral to vibrant.  Colors include Pammy Pink (a hot pink named after Rich’s muse, Pamela Anderson),  Hot Sexy Nude, Bionic (neon pink) and Rhoosk (exotic neon purple).

Rich wouldn’t reveal where Runway nail polish will be available, but he did share that it will be “out and about”  and at an extremely affordable price-point.  With these great colors and an affordable price, fashion forward nails will be hankering for the entire Runway rainbow.
