Carrie Bradshaw made Jimmy Choo’s $500 shoes a household name and footwear obsession in Sex and the City. This Fall, Jimmy Choo will bring its shoes and bags to selected H&M stores. It is the first time that H&M is collaborating with an accessories brand, and to celebrate Jimmy Choo will branch out to women’s clothing to complement the accessories.
Target started the trend of getting top named designers to take pity on working gals who want to look great but can’t afford $500 for a pair of shoes. When Isaac Mizrahi designed the first designer line for Target, the items were snatched up in record time. Target has kept the tradition up and many top-named designers are hopping off the runway and hopping onto discount store racks. Of course the materials aren’t the highest quality, but the looks are comparable and when you get to wear designer at a fraction of the normal cost who’s complaining?
ANNA SUI
This year, Target enlisted Anna Sui to help design the Gossip Girl-inspired clothing line for Fall.

We love the youthful bohemian looks of these clothes. The dresses can be worn both on a night on the town or paired with jeans and a belt for a fun day with the girls.
