T.J. Maxx in South Beach Offers Runway Fashion at Runaway Prices

Chances are you’ve been to a T.J. Maxx store before and found a good moderate piece at a discount price – a DKNY shirt or a Calvin Klein boot.  The  new T.J. Maxx, which recently opened in the new 5th & Alton Shops, is a secret treasure trove of true runway and designer fashions at deeply discounted prices.

On our last visit there, we spotted Prada, Missoni, Burberry, Dolce & Gabanna, Vera Wang, Rebecca Taylor and Badgley Mischka in the house, to name a few.  These are names that rarely discount so the rack hunt at this T.J. Maxx is sure to yield quite a few finds.  A few bargains that stood out were Cole and Haan Granny Boots on clearance for $100 and a Cynthia Rowley Bell Sleeved Sweater for $29.99.

In times like these, T.J. Maxx will be our savior. There were labels there that usually would be very painful for credit cards, I couldn’t believe the stuff that was in front of me. As with all T.J. Maxx stores, the size selection is limited so if you find something today, grab it – chances are it won’t be there tomorrow. The good news is that they get a new shipment of goodies weekly so you might have to add a weekly shopping appointment in your iPhone.

T.J. Maxx is located at the new shopping center in Miami Beach on 5th and Alton.  Other stores are Best Buy, Ross, Staples, Vitamin Shoppe  and Publix.  Petco is set to open any day. There is an enclosed parking garage and your first two hours of parking are free.
