Although recent tracks of Jay-Z’s music from his latest album “Food For Thought” were leaked from a studio computer belonging to music producer Timbaland, Jay-Z doesn’t appear to be fazed by the ordeal, and although he comments in his “Conservations with Jay-Z” (due to air on BET) that “we lead with a single for a reason”.

For the release of his latest album, Jay-Z will be performing at Madison Square Garden on September 10, 2009. This “Food For Thought” performance will be on broadcast on Fuse.tv on September 11, 2009. “Conversations with Jay-Z”, an interview with Jay-Z about his Food For Thought album, will also air on BET tonight on 7PM ET.

I’ve seen clips of the interview, and I’d have to say that Jay-Z is in rare form during this interview. He discusses how some “artists have this fear that Hip-Hop is a young person’s game” in regards to why many rap artists do not have longevity in the industry.
