Caster Semenya Updates Her Look – More Feminine
Written by FredFashion // September 8, 2009 // News // No comments
During the July World Track Championships, controversy emerged over the gender of the Women’s 800-Meter race winner Caster Semenya. At first glance, during the start of the race, Caster does sort of look like, well, “a man”.
During the race Semenya was sporting a 5-o’clock shadow with ‘stache, a unisex track apparel, and had the muscular build and physique of a young Tupac Shakur. Despite her masculine features, what made speculation about Semenya’s gender even worse was her own mannerisms. She had the swagger of a high school football running back as she performed her stretches alongside her rival female counterparts.
Still as masculine as she may have looked. We think it’s still wrong that she had to undergo a gender test. I mean there’s many women that look more masculine then 18-year Caster Semenya. Some of them are high fashion runway models.
We here at Fashify.com are happy to see that Caster is sporting a new look though. We just hope she’s doing it because she wants too, not because people are pressure her to fit a mode.
